Online Visiting Professor, Information Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Create and deliver an approved syllabus for students.

• Plan, prepare, and continuously update course materials.

• Demonstrate effective oral and written communication that captivates students.

• Establish clear expectations for the course and ensure they align with course objectives.

• Provide prompt feedback to students and assess exams impartially.

• Incorporate responsible AI technology usage in the classroom.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Ph.D. in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline is mandatory.

• A minimum of 18 graduate credit hours in information systems, information technology, systems analysis, database management, or related computing fields.

• Three to five years of relevant professional experience in information systems, enterprise systems management, IT operations, systems analysis, or technology implementation within organizational settings.

• Proven experience in the design, implementation, and management of information systems.

• Recognized industry certifications or professional credentials related to information systems, IT management, or systems analysis.

• Strong expertise in information systems concepts.

• Understanding of information governance, cybersecurity principles, and ethical technology usage in organizational contexts.
