Online Math Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• We are looking for passionate and experienced Math Tutors who are skilled in teaching a variety of math subjects ranging from 6th grade to college level.

• This position is a fully remote contract opportunity that offers flexible scheduling.

• Tutors who are knowledgeable about a wide array of math topics and have a solid understanding of the U.S. curriculum will have the ability to connect with a greater number of students.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• At least 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience is necessary.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant teaching or tutoring experience in the U.S. is required.

• Candidates must have taught or tutored within the last 2 years.

• A minimum of 1 year of online tutoring experience is essential.

• A strong understanding of the U.S. curriculum and grading standards is crucial.

• Ability to tutor in a variety of Math subjects from 6th grade to college level is needed.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.

• Tutors who are available during peak hours (Monday through Thursday, 3 to 10 PM ET) will have the opportunity to connect with more students. Broader availability on weekdays and weekends is an advantage.

• A fast and reliable internet connection is mandatory.

• A computer or laptop equipped with a microphone and camera is required. A stylus pen is highly recommended for clear annotations.
