Online Calculus Tutor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +3 more states.

📋 Description

• Assist students in Calculus for both high school and college levels.

• Instruct a variety of math subjects ranging from 6th grade to college level.

• Deliver tailored one-on-one online tutoring sessions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience.

• At least 1 year of relevant teaching or tutoring experience within the U.S.

• Must have engaged in teaching or tutoring within the last 2 years.

• A minimum of 1 year of online tutoring experience is necessary.

• Strong familiarity with the U.S. curriculum and grading standards.

• Demonstrated subject matter expertise in Calculus.

• Capability to tutor Math subjects from 6th grade through college level.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential.

• Tutors who are available during peak hours (Monday through Thursday, 3 to 10 PM ET) will have the opportunity to connect with more students. Additional weekday and weekend availability is an advantage.

• Must have a fast and reliable internet connection.

• A computer or laptop equipped with a microphone and camera is required. A stylus pen is highly recommended for effective annotations.

• A quiet and professional workspace is essential.
