This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.
• Address and resolve challenges within accounts through customized solutions
• Develop strategic territory plans to enhance product demand and improve patient outcomes
• Collaborate with territory colleagues, field teams, and home-office staff to meet customer needs and provide access support
• Examine market, competitive, and cross-functional dynamics to foresee opportunities and challenges
• Leverage territory data and market trends to extract local insights and lead customer interactions, both virtually and in-person
• Organize planning sessions with key stakeholders to tackle complex issues
• Provide real-time access support and work closely with Patient Specialty Services
• Utilize digital tools and omni-channel strategies to tailor outreach efforts across both virtual and face-to-face environments
• Serve as the primary contact for accounts and Health Care Providers
• Maintain a balance between demand generation and strategic account engagement
• A Bachelor’s degree is required from an accredited 4-year college or university
• Relevant experience within the last 5 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, or similarly structured industries with large, geographically dispersed sales teams, or comparable complex sales environments
• Demonstrated history of high performance
• Experience in navigating and selling to large accounts and key customers
• Analytical skills to identify, prioritize, and utilize information to resolve customer issues
• Ethical leadership qualities with the ability to encourage ethical practices and compliance with company policies and legal standards
• Must reside within the territory or within a reasonable commuting distance of 50 miles from the territory border
• Willingness to travel 60–80% across a wide geography
• Capability to drive and/or fly within the territory
• Must possess a fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license
• For Territory Account Specialist level: 2+ years’ experience in a similar specialty pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, medical device, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, B2B, or similarly complex sales role within the last 5 years
• For Senior Territory Account Specialist level: 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within the last 5 years
• For Associate level: limited prior sales experience is acceptable, or 4+ years of recent US military service in a leadership role
• Experience in communicating clinical product information
• Experience in cross-functional collaboration within a matrix environment
• Compliance with COVID-19 customer credentialing requirements may necessitate vaccination
• Successful completion of required initial training is mandatory
