This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Cultivates professional relationships and interacts with national and regional Scientific Leaders (SLs) to guarantee access to medical and scientific information regarding therapeutic areas and Company products.
• Engages in peer-to-peer scientific discussions while maintaining a dependable presence with SLs to ensure they have a medical contact within the organization.
• Addresses scientific inquiries and redirects SL questions on matters outside the purview of the Regional Medical Scientific Director to the appropriate company resources, adhering to applicable policies.
• Keeps up-to-date with the evolving scientific and clinical landscape within the Company's Areas of Interest (AOI).
• When requested by the Global Center for Scientific Affairs (GCSA), initiates discussions with SLs and/or potential investigators involving scientific and data exchange within our AOI to evaluate alignment with our research strategies, study concepts, scientific merit, and qualifications for specific compounds or trials.
• Enhances understanding of the scientific principles and goals of investigator-sponsored research.
• Identifies challenges to patient enrollment and retention efforts to meet study milestones.
• Suggests study sites and identifies potential investigators for participation in phase II-III clinical development programs, conducts Site Initiation Visits (SIVs), and recognizes obstacles to patient enrollment and retention efforts to achieve study milestones.
• Responds to inquiries from investigators and provides information regarding participation in company-sponsored clinical trials.
• Participates in scientific congresses and medical meetings, facilitating scientific and data exchange for both internal and competitive data.
• Collects feedback, data, or information during routine activities that can assist the company in gaining a better understanding of the medical or scientific needs, priorities, or concerns of SLs and/or patients.
• PhD, PharmD, DNP, or MD.
• Proven expertise with a minimum of 3 years of oncology experience beyond that acquired in the terminal degree program.
• Strong preference for background in Breast Oncology Malignancies.
• Capable of conducting doctoral-level discussions with key external stakeholders.
• Commitment to scientific excellence with a strong emphasis on scientific education and dialogue.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and networking abilities.
• Comprehensive understanding of FDA, OIG, HIPAA, and other ethical guidelines, laws, and regulations pertinent to the pharmaceutical industry and its customers.
• Proficient in organizing, prioritizing, and working effectively in a dynamic environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access).
