This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Act as a strategic leader in education across both academic and community oncology accounts.
• Educate members of the patient care team proactively and reactively using approved resources.
• Create tailored educational plans that reflect account dynamics and clinical insights.
• Instruct healthcare clinicians on product preparation, administration, adverse event mitigation, monitoring, and management.
• Convey pertinent clinical education topics to a variety of audiences.
• Raise awareness about disease states and assist with accurate patient diagnosis.
• Conduct one-on-one presentations, in-services, round-table discussions, and podium presentations.
• Inform patient care teams about the product-related infusion process.
• Document and disseminate clinical insights through strategic questioning and active listening.
• Participate in and deliver clinical information or presentations at national, regional, and local meetings.
• Support exhibit booths and displays as deemed appropriate.
• Enhance clinical training initiatives and bolster the clinical competencies of the internal sales team.
• Collaborate with teams across sales, marketing, clinical operations, medical, and clinical value and evidence.
• Potentially provide education to patients at advocacy meetings using approved materials.
• A Bachelor's degree is required; a Nursing or Nurse Practitioner degree is preferred.
• A Master's level education is preferred.
• A minimum of three years of combined clinical experience and/or experience in pharmaceutical sales, clinical education, or medical affairs is required; oncology experience is preferred.
• Preferred experience includes working with patients and healthcare professionals in an infusion center setting.
• Experience in developing or implementing chemotherapy/biologics infusion procedures and protocols for therapy administration and patient safety monitoring is preferred.
• Excellent communication, objective setting, influencing, business acumen, and analytical abilities are required.
• Adaptability to change and a willingness to embrace learning are essential.
• Experience in interpreting clinical and pharmacoeconomic data is necessary.
• Ability to identify evolving oncology market trends and understand their implications for providers and patients is required.
• Experience working within a cross-functional team environment is necessary.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and other relevant applications is required.
• Willingness to travel 50% of the time, including overnight travel and occasional weekends.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to drive a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material-handling equipment.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements.
