This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +1 more state.
• Develop and implement the Medical strategy and engagement for designated customers within a specific territory.
• Maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant therapeutic areas, disease states, and Pfizer products.
• Act as a liaison and resource for Medical Information and insights from customers.
• Grasp the objectives of Pfizer Medical Affairs to contribute effectively to the development of Medical content strategies.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with headquarters Medical colleagues.
• Exhibit expertise in communication across various channels.
• Enhance patient-centricity in Medical communications and deliverables.
• Present approved medical content regarding Pfizer products and relevant subjects.
• Identify and engage priority customer segments within the assigned Therapeutic Area.
• Provide truthful, accurate, and scientifically backed information in response to unsolicited medical inquiries.
• Collaborate with colleagues from Global Medical Affairs.
• Offer Medical support throughout the Investigator Sponsored Research (ISR) process.
• Develop expertise in research and therapeutic areas.
• Provide leadership for Assets.
• Communicate proactively and reactively with local Patient Advocacy Groups as necessary.
• Share insights about local patient organization structures, capabilities, and patient population needs.
• Participate in Medical, Therapeutic Area, and asset cross-functional committees as appropriate.
• Represent Pfizer Medical Affairs leadership within clinical/professional associations and societies.
• Engage in special projects as required.
• MD or DO Degree is mandatory.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience is essential.
• Recognized subject matter expert among internal and external stakeholders.
• Exhibit diverse leadership experiences and capabilities, including the ability to influence, collaborate with peers, and create business impact.
• Possess exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills: ability to understand and respond to the demands of multiple external and internal customers while managing and resolving conflicts constructively.
• Capable of managing a significant volume of projects in a remote work environment.
• Work effectively within a matrixed, multi-disciplinary team to build strong professional relationships with Pfizer and customers.
• Manage and lead through change in a dynamic and evolving external health care landscape.
• Problem-solve and network across the enterprise to identify appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate effectively, showing leadership and teamwork with peers, internal stakeholders, and external customers, inspiring alignment and partnership on shared visions or strategies.
