This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +3 more states.
• The Director of Clinical Services (DCS) is responsible for ensuring clinical and operational excellence within a specified book of business in an Envision Physician Services operating unit.
• This role enhances patient care processes and outcomes by collaborating with local medical leadership and front-line clinicians.
• Within their designated book of business, the DCS balances the needs and opportunities of clients alongside internal EMG relationships across their portfolio.
• The DCS identifies potential improvement areas within their book of business and works in partnership with the operating unit leadership team to support medical directors and clients in achieving performance enhancement and goal attainment.
• The DCS leads the implementation of clinical quality, service line clinical operations, and corporate initiatives.
• Additionally, the DCS utilizes client relationships to influence and enhance clinician engagement, customer value, and contract retention by collaborating with Envision business owners.
• They will assess and pinpoint opportunities for improvement within our health system and hospitals.
• Participates in and supports initiatives aimed at delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Proven track record of results, including but not limited to physician relations, health system structures/care transitions, quality, clinical operations, and relationship building.
• Experience in physician relations, quality, process improvements, and customer service.
• Strong communication skills with executive management, including EMG leadership (VP, SVP) and health system C-suite leadership at regional, divisional, and/or site levels.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• RN required.
• 5-10 years of relevant hospital experience, including over 5 years in clinical departmental leadership at a healthcare facility.
• More than 5 years of experience in people leadership.
• LEAN/Six Sigma training preferred (must be completed within the first 12 months in the role).
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Advanced capabilities in data acquisition, analysis, and visualization for promoting education, presenting results, and tracking/monitoring performance and successes.
• Experience with flowchart and diagramming software (e.g., Visio).
