This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Oklahoma.
• Troubleshoot daily project system issues to achieve uptime objectives.
• Monitor hourly production output goals and implement corrective or escalation strategies.
• Adhere to maintenance schedules, performing preventive maintenance and startup tests.
• Identify potential issues and suggest corrective measures.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams, subcontractors, and other departments to enhance system performance, product quality, and maintenance costs.
• Communicate across functions to resolve plant-related issues.
• Complete CMMS work orders and audit events alongside warranty claims.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot inverters, switchgear, transformers, breakers, communication equipment, trackers, and other project systems.
• Train operators and others on machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Develop standard operating procedures for maintenance and operations.
• Assist with project commissioning and testing activities.
• Coordinate on-site project planning, installations, commissioning, quality inspections, and performance testing.
• Attend required safety, environmental, and additional training sessions.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
• College degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in renewable energy, such as solar or wind.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical machinery and equipment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, drawings, manuals, and specifications.
• Strong safety background, including experience with Lockout Tagout and Job Hazard Analysis.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and a positive team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work outside of regular daytime hours (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.), including nights and weekends, for emergency services or project equipment issues.
• Willingness to travel; project locations are currently within Sicily, Italy.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• In-depth knowledge of local regulations applicable to PV sites in operation.
• Valid driver’s license.
