Observability Engineer – Prometheus, Grafana

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and optimize monitoring solutions for cloud infrastructures.

• Define, analyze, and implement dashboards to visualize critical performance indicators.

• Ensure the proper functioning of productive clouds based on open-source technologies (such as Kubernetes and OpenStack).

• Address critical incidents on the platform, escalating to Senior Engineers or the product development team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computing, or a related field.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in managing, optimizing, and monitoring cloud infrastructures, especially with technologies like Kubernetes and/or OpenStack, along with handling incidents and productive environments.

• Experience in designing and monitoring solutions for cloud infrastructures, as well as performance management and coordinating critical incidents with the development team.

• Intermediate Linux skills.

• Basic commands, file manipulation, networking, etc.

• Experience with Shell scripting (Bash).

• Automation (scripting) using Bash and/or Python.

• Git: Basic level.

• Intermediate use and creation of container images with Docker.

• Use and configuration of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Kibana).

• Use and configuration of deployment tools like GitLab, ArgoCD, etc.

• Knowledge in monitoring external elements such as routers, switches, Kubernetes clusters, and VMs.

• Language: Intermediate English (Writing/Reading).
