Nurse Trainer/Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Facilitate training sessions covering Manual Handling, Basic Life Support, Medications for care staff, and HISS skill sets.

• Provide training on PEG tubes and feeding, Bowel and Bladder management, Diabetes and Insulin Pen administration, Epilepsy and Midazolam, ANTT, Aggression management, Tracheostomy care, Falls prevention, Dementia care awareness, and related subjects.

• Conduct training either virtually or in person.

• Utilize provided session plans and materials to deliver courses effectively.

• Evaluate learners through practical observation.

• Grade theoretical assessments.

• Foster adult learning and contribute to student success.

• Commute between various training locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess TAE40116 or TAE40122 qualification, or have recent clinical training experience.

• Hold current AHPRA registration.

• Have experience as a Registered Nurse in acute, aged care, and/or disability support/NDIS environments, with a preference for experience in disability.

• Demonstrate experience in delivering healthcare training, including topics such as Manual Handling, BLS, Medications, and NDIS High Intensity Skills Standards.

• Exhibit confidence in using technology to deliver courses either virtually or face-to-face.

• Possess a driver’s license and vehicle for commuting between locations.

• Be vaccinated against COVID-19.

• Must be a resident of Australia and hold full working rights in the country.
