Nurse Trainer/Educator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Provide training in various areas including Manual Handling, Basic Life Support, Medication administration for care workers, PEG tube and feeding techniques, Bowel and Bladder management, Diabetes and Insulin Pen usage, Epilepsy and Midazolam, Aseptic Non-Touch Technique (ANTT), Aggression management, Tracheostomy care, Falls prevention, Dementia care awareness, and much more.

• Conduct assessments through practical observations and evaluation of theoretical examinations.

• Interact with students to facilitate high-quality training experiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possession of TAE40116 or TAE40122 qualifications OR recent clinical training experience.

• Current registration with AHPRA.

• Proficiency in using technology for delivering courses, whether virtually or in-person.

• Registered Nurse experience in acute care, aged care, and/or disability support/NDIS (preference for disability experience).

• Background in delivering healthcare training (e.g., Manual Handling, Basic Life Support, Medication administration).

• COVID-19 vaccination required.

• Must be a resident of Australia and hold full working rights.
