
Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant β Mental Health Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +1 more state.
β’ Perform thorough and empathetic psychiatric evaluations, establish diagnoses, formulate treatment plans, manage medications, monitor patient progress, and make referrals as necessary.
β’ Prescribe, adjust dosages, refill, and oversee the use of psychotropic medications across various classes, including anti-anxiety medications, antidepressants, antipsychotics, mood stabilizers, and stimulants.
β’ Collaborate effectively with therapists, MDs, NPs, PAs, acupuncturists, mental health coordinators, and clinical leaders to promote coordinated, patient-focused care.
β’ Work alongside mental health and clinical leaders to identify, consult on, and assist high-risk patients.
β’ Offer mental health insights and case consultations to the wider clinical team, including support for patient education, health advice, and care planning.
β’ Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, policy formulation, documentation standards, and clinical best practices by keeping abreast of ongoing research and developments in psychiatric and mental healthcare.
β’ Enable comprehensive mental healthcare interventions and referrals, including connecting patients with social service resources and higher levels of care when necessary.
β’ Board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with active, unrestricted licensure in California and/or Arizona.
β’ Over 3 years of post-graduate experience in psychiatric or mental health clinical settings.
β’ Proven experience in conducting psychiatric assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and medication management.
β’ Proficient in prescribing and monitoring commonly used psychotropic medications.
β’ Comfortable providing care in a virtual-first, technology-driven environment, including managing documentation and payer credentialing requirements.
