This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Conduct virtual assessments of patients and gather their medical histories.
• Diagnose and manage obesity along with associated chronic conditions.
• Prescribe and oversee medications following clinical protocols and supervision guidelines.
• Create, execute, and modify personalized treatment plans.
• Monitor the progress, safety, and response to treatment of patients.
• Educate patients on the medical and behavioral facets of obesity care.
• Address clinical concerns and modify care as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary care teams and engage in case reviews.
• Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Adhere to telehealth, prescribing, and compliance standards.
• Valid PA-C or NP license and DEA in good standing (mandatory).
• Preference for candidates from these states: CT, MD, NC, NH, OH, RI, TX, VA, VT.
• NP board certification or graduation from an accredited PA program.
• Eligibility for telehealth in the assigned states.
• Experience in primary care, obesity medicine, endocrinology, or chronic disease management (preferred).
• Experience with telehealth (preferred).
• Strong clinical judgment is essential.
• Excellent communication skills for virtual patient interactions.
• Comfortable adhering to protocols and supervision requirements.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
• Proficient in EHR and telehealth platform usage.
• Access to reliable internet and a private, HIPAA-compliant workspace.
