Nurse Practitioner, New York/New Jersey

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Deliver medication abortion care and various forms of sexual and reproductive healthcare to patients through Hey Jane’s online platform.

• Conduct consultations via video, phone, or asynchronous communication.

• Review patients’ medical intake responses and engage with them through our HIPAA-compliant messaging application.

• Establish suitable treatment plans and provide ongoing care.

• Prescribe medications to either a mail-order pharmacy or a local pharmacy.

• Address patient inquiries that necessitate further medical evaluation.

• Guide nursing staff regarding referrals and any additional prescriptions as needed.

• Administrative duties, patient education and support, non-urgent assistance, and follow-up reviews will be chiefly conducted by our nursing and patient advocate teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Board Certification, in good standing, to practice medicine.

• Current state licensure (NP) and licensed in NJ or NY.

• Willingness and eligibility to apply for additional licenses.

• **Must have** over 1 year of experience in providing abortion and reproductive healthcare.

• A genuine interest in delivering compassionate and caring services to a diverse population with a non-judgmental, patient-centered approach.

• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

• Proficient in utilizing online tools and technology to provide care and interact with patients.
