Nurse Practitioner, Bilingual Spanish

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +10 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver medication abortion care to patients through Hey Jane’s digital platform.

• Conduct consultations via video, phone, or asynchronously.

• Evaluate patients’ medical intake information.

• Interact with patients using a HIPAA-compliant messaging application or during live consultations.

• Assess eligibility for online medication abortion services.

• Prescribe medications to a mail-order pharmacy or coordinate local pharmacy pickups.

• Address medical questions from patients who need further assessment.

• Guide nursing staff regarding referrals and any additional prescriptions when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active Board Certification in good standing to practice medicine.

• Current state licensure (NP).

• Willingness and eligibility to apply for additional licenses.

• **Must have** over 1 year of experience in providing abortion and reproductive healthcare.

• Passion for delivering compassionate services to a diverse population with a non-judgmental, patient-centered approach.

• Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities.

• Proficient in utilizing online tools and technology for care delivery and patient interaction.

• Professional dedication to the mission, philosophy, and objectives of Hey Jane.

• Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic startup atmosphere where processes may evolve rapidly.

• Keen to engage in ongoing process improvement to enhance our tools and operations for better care delivery.

• Bilingual in Spanish.
