This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Deliver virtual urgent and primary care telemedicine services to members located in the US Virgin Islands.
• Perform virtual medical assessments, examinations, histories, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Facilitate patient interactions via video consultations, phone calls, and secure messaging.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, physicians, care teams, specialists, health coaches, and ancillary services licensed in the Virgin Islands.
• Offer preventive care, acute care, chronic disease management for individuals aged 3 and above, and adult sexual health services.
• Engage in health promotion, wellness initiatives, immunizations, screenings, lifestyle modifications, and patient education.
• Ensure proper follow-up care and manage referrals effectively.
• Record visits, treatment plans, referrals, and communications in the electronic health record system.
• Follow platform guidelines, telehealth protocols, prescribing practices, referral management, patient safety, privacy, and organizational policies.
• Work alongside multidisciplinary care teams to guarantee integrated care delivery.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for clinicians or telehealth support staff when applicable.
• Keep updated with clinical guidelines, telehealth methodologies, digital health advancements, and regulatory updates.
• Maintain compliant patient documentation, credentials, licenses, certifications, and continue education.
• Over 5 years of experience in primary care, family medicine, or internal medicine.
• Prior experience in providing telehealth services.
• Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification.
• A current, unencumbered, and unrestricted license in the United States and the US Virgin Islands.
• Availability during standard business hours, with the flexibility to work on weekends and evenings as required.
• Experience utilizing online tools and technology for virtual communication and care delivery.
• Access to high-speed internet and a secure workspace.
• Adherence to telehealth best practices, patient privacy regulations, and remote workflow protocols.
• Preferred: familiarity with remote patient monitoring technologies, digital health platforms, and asynchronous telehealth workflows.
• Flexible working hours.
• Potential training and mentorship in virtual care best practices, remote patient engagement, and digital workflows.
• Occasional in-person training sessions or meetings.
