Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +13 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct 60-minute initial and 30-minute follow-up virtual clinical sessions for Psychiatric Evaluations

• Manage psychiatric medication follow-ups

• Oversee Medically Managed Withdrawal (MMW)

• Facilitate Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)

• Perform FMLA evaluations

• Provide additional direct care clinical services as requested by leadership

• Allocate protected time each day for note documentation

• Review incoming admissions and issue orders for new or returning clients

• Examine and endorse treatment plans, assessments, and admissions/discharge orders

• Offer cross-coverage across all locations as required

• Engage in after-hours and weekend phone call coverage rotation

• Execute miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned or requested by leadership

⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree, or an Active Registered Nursing license with relevant clinical licensure (APRN)

• Unencumbered license to practice and DEA registration

• Multi-state licensure/DEAs are essential

• Bilingual Spanish speaking skills are highly preferred but not mandatory

• Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification required

• A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the addiction treatment sector

• At least one year of experience in psychiatric medication management

• Familiarity with telehealth practices

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and EHR systems

• Experience with billing and coding related to outpatient/therapy services
