This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Arrive at the location 1-2 weeks prior to the opening alongside the NPO team.

• Ensure that the party rooms and service hall are prepared to meet Lava Island standards.

• Complete setup tasks beyond the scope of MCS, including staging for party rooms, arranging the service hall, ensuring gift cart and supply readiness, and managing delivery flow.

• Assist the HQ Creative team in selecting balloon bouquet colors for each party room.

• Verify that safety standards are upheld throughout all party operations.

• Conduct interviews for party candidates in collaboration with the NPO GM; provide feedback on hiring decisions.

• Facilitate on-site training for the entire party flow.

• Make instantaneous decisions regarding the party schedule and flow, room timing and resets, gift cart and supply coverage, and resolving guest issues.

• Maintain hospitality standards and pace during peak volume periods.

• Exemplify the Lava Island standard consistently in front of the team.


⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience at Lava Island as an Assistant Manager with party depth, or as a Crew Member with significant party experience and proven readiness for a salaried leadership position.

• Party Lead experience is highly preferred.

• Strong operational knowledge of party operations, including the entire party flow (check-in, deliveries, room cleaning and resetting, host check-out), service hall management, and team leadership within the party rooms.

• Proven ability to lead during high-intensity shifts with composure and clarity, and to quickly coach a new team to achieve performance goals.

• Willingness to travel continuously without a home park base, participating in 4-6 week deployment cycles.

• Comfort in unfamiliar environments and the ability to uphold the Lava Island standard in a new park, with a new team, and within a new community.

• Must be 18 years or older.

• Current ServSafe Manager Certification, or completion within 30 days of hire.

• Proficiency with technology, including email, spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and digital documentation; experience in a Microsoft 365 and Outlook environment is preferred.
