This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.
• Arrive at the location 1-2 weeks prior to opening with the NPO team.
• Ensure the park meets Lava Island operational standards.
• Complete setup tasks that fall outside the MCS scope throughout the park, including the welcome desk, jump deck and play area, dining room, and restrooms.
• Verify that safety standards are maintained across the park; escalate any issues requiring HQ or vendor assistance to the NPO GM promptly.
• Oversee the on-site IT setup, bridging the physical setup work and HQ IT provisioning.
• Install and connect Firesticks to ensure accurate display on menu boards and pricing boards.
• Confirm that POS consoles are correctly positioned, connected, and operational.
• Unbox and set up the office computer upon arrival from HQ IT; also, install the printer.
• Conduct interviews for park candidates in collaboration with the NPO GM; provide feedback on hiring decisions.
• Facilitate on-site training across all park stations including jump deck safety monitoring, dining room operations, welcome desk, and greeter roles.
• Mentor the team, address performance and attendance issues in real-time, and enhance park operations.
• Previous experience at Lava Island as an AM with park depth or as a Crew Member demonstrating strong park experience and readiness for a salaried leadership position.
• Strong operational knowledge of park operations: safety protocols, station coverage at the welcome desk, jump deck, dining area, and restrooms, along with team leadership in the park.
• Proficient in hands-on technology setup: connecting devices, following vendor and IT setup instructions, and configuring basic hardware after unboxing.
• Proven ability to lead effectively during high-intensity shifts with composure and clarity, and to rapidly coach a new team to performance standards.
• Willingness to travel continuously, with no home park base, in deployment cycles of 4-6 weeks.
• Ability to adapt to unfamiliar environments and uphold Lava Island standards in a new park, with a new team, and within a new community.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Current ServSafe Manager Certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient with technology: comfortable using email, spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and digital documentation. Lava Island operates within a Microsoft 365 and Outlook environment.
• Rental car, lodging, and per diem provided according to the NPO Field Policy.
