
Northeast Sales Specialist – Marine

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +3 more states.
• Increase sales volume and profitability within the territory by proactively reaching out to both new and existing customers.
• Implement effective pre-call strategies, utilize market data, organize schedules, and optimize sales opportunities.
• Create comprehensive sales plans and forecasts for the designated territory.
• Identify and pursue additional sales prospects across current and new product lines.
• Communicate effectively and relay order details to Customer Service Representatives.
• Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, reports, correspondence, and product/industry presentations to customers at all levels within their organization.
• Provide weekly updates on sales activities, operational performance, and forecasting data.
• Ensure prompt submission of expense reports.
• Leverage the company CRM to establish a database for tracking and reporting all account interactions, prospects, activities, objectives, and outcomes.
• Engage in company enhancement initiatives such as strategic planning or continuous improvement programs.
• Participate and network in various industry associations and events.
• Attend necessary training sessions and trade shows.
• Organize sales activities and trips to enhance sales coverage while managing travel expenses within budget limits.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• A valid driver's license is necessary if operating a vehicle for company-related purposes.
• A Bachelor’s degree or some college education is preferred.
• At least one year of experience as an outside sales representative in a business-to-business environment.
• Experience with CRM systems is preferred.
• A valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years on driving record.
• Willingness to travel overnight as needed.
