Non-Linguistic Quality Control Specialist – Latam

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Conduct quality control assessments of translations into English for pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and clinical materials.

• Evaluate clinical/regulatory and pharmacovigilance documents to ensure quality standards are met.

• Utilize CAT tools and perform QC checks to maintain accuracy and consistency.

• Confirm proper formatting, numbers, dates, units, terminology, and compliance with guidelines.

• Assist in processing non-editable or handwritten sources and conduct formatting QC post-conversion.

• Self-assign tasks through Open Offers based on availability and respond to urgent turnaround requirements.

• Manage a high volume of work distributed across multiple small files; document and report any discrepancies.

• Collaborate with project managers and proactively escalate risks as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Required experience with CAT tools: XTM, Trados, MemoQ, Phrase, or similar software.

• Proficiency in QA checks using Xbench, Verifika, or integrated QA tools within CAT software.

• Familiarity with Track Changes in Word.

• At least 6 months of experience as a Language QA specialist in localization.

• Advanced proficiency in English, with a minimum level of C1.

• Availability for 4–5 hours per day.

• Willingness to work during weekends and public holidays.

• Capability to meet urgent turnaround times of 12–24 hours and manage numerous small files effectively.

• Commitment to completing the QC test and following a structured onboarding process.

• Previous experience in a similar QC role at a language service provider is a significant advantage.

• Ideal candidates will have experience with clinical/regulatory or pharmacovigilance documents.
