This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Conduct Quality Control for translations into English related to pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and clinical documentation.
β’ Utilize CAT tools and execute QC checks to guarantee precision and uniformity.
β’ Verify formatting, numbers, dates, units, terminology, and compliance with guidelines.
β’ Assist in processing non-editable or handwritten sources and perform formatting QC post-conversion.
β’ Self-assign tasks based on availability through Open Offers and adhere to urgent turnaround times, typically between 12 and 24 hours.
β’ Manage a high volume of work distributed across multiple small files; document and communicate any discrepancies.
β’ Collaborate with Project Managers and promptly escalate any risks.
β’ Required experience with CAT tools such as XTM, Trados, MemoQ, Phrase, or others.
β’ Proficient in QA checks using tools like Xbench, Verifika, or integrated QA within CAT tools.
β’ Familiarity with the Track Changes feature in Word.
β’ At least 6 months of experience as a Language QA specialist in the localization field.
β’ Advanced proficiency in English, with a minimum level of C1.
β’ Availability for 4 to 5 hours daily, with a willingness to work on weekends and public holidays.
β’ Capability to meet urgent turnaround times of 12 to 24 hours and manage multiple small files effectively.
β’ Readiness to complete the QC test and engage in a phased onboarding process.
β’ Previous experience in a similar QC role at a Language Service Provider (LSP) is highly advantageous.
β’ Experience with clinical, regulatory, or pharmacovigilance documents is preferred.
