NICX Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Interpret and execute site-specific commissioning plans while adhering to established schedules.

• Collaborate with project teams, including engineering, construction, quality assurance, and SCADA, to ensure coordination on commissioning activities.

• Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning tests, including performance, functional, and reliability testing of all communication systems.

• Ensure that all commissioning activities meet industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.

• Diagnose and resolve issues that arise during the commissioning process to guarantee optimal performance of SCADA and site communication systems.

• Create comprehensive commissioning reports that document test results, encountered issues, and corrective measures implemented.

• Continuously enhance commissioning processes by integrating feedback and lessons learned from completed projects.

• Assist site commissioning personnel in establishing the Safety Tagging, Lockout & Work Permit Program, ensuring compliance with its requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in commissioning utility-scale solar power projects.

• Strong understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, transformers, and electrical infrastructure.

• Proficient knowledge of networking and communication systems.

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.

• Capability to interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.

• Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Familiarity with pertinent industry standards, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
