This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Supervise Relationship Managers to ensure compliance with corporate policies.
• Conduct credit assessments and provide approval for over-limit credit requests.
• Lead and support cross-selling initiatives.
• Encourage participation in clients' public debt offerings when permissible based on credit ratings.
• Oversee the sales process within a designated geographic marketing area.
• Serve as the primary contact for an established customer portfolio.
• Facilitate the cross-selling of the bank's products and maintain primary banking relationships.
• Deliver exceptional customer service.
• Achieve or surpass compensation plan targets.
• Monitor customer performance, capabilities, industries, documentation, and reporting to evaluate loan risks.
• Engage in community activities and projects that promote the bank.
• Provide feedback to employees, offer development opportunities, assist in talent pool growth, succession planning, and recognition programs.
• Identify, evaluate, manage, monitor, and report risks within the bank's risk tolerance.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Typically requires over 9 years of experience in credit training and underwriting.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Proven experience in sales and negotiation.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel is required.
• Capability to oversee credit, underwriting, and loan risk evaluation responsibilities.
