This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Proactively engage new customers within the retail sector, emphasizing innovative cash-management solutions and newly launched software products.
• Strategically develop the market and expand business operations, particularly in areas such as fashion retail, pharmacies, and food & beverage.
• Focused engagement and nurturing of client relationships in these sectors aimed at generating and successfully closing new business opportunities.
• Take full ownership of the entire sales process — from pinpointing relevant target customers and initial outreach to needs assessment, solution delivery, proposal negotiation, and contract finalization.
• Establish, maintain, and continuously enhance a robust sales pipeline to sustainably meet sales objectives.
• Position the company as a leading innovator in providing solutions for modern retail processes and enhancing operational efficiency within the cash cycle.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams such as presales, service, and management to effectively implement customer-specific needs.
• Conduct ongoing market analysis and competitor assessments to proactively identify new business opportunities within the German retail sector.
• Strategically deepen existing customer relationships while identifying additional cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the current client base.
• The position requires a willingness to travel within Germany, up to 60% of the time.
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration or a commercial apprenticeship accompanied by professional experience in sales or business development.
• Minimum of 5 years of demonstrable sales experience in actively acquiring new customers, preferably in a B2B context involving technically/consultative or complex products/solutions.
• Strong understanding of the German retail market, particularly within fashion, food & beverage, and quick-service restaurant segments.
• A strong hunter/challenger mindset with high self-motivation, proven closing abilities, and a clear willingness to actively penetrate new markets and acquire customers.
• Experience in selling cash-management solutions and a comprehensive grasp of retail processes and operational customer needs.
• Excellent proficiency in German (C2) and competent English skills (B2).
• Confident and professional demeanor at the decision-maker level, combined with exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• A strong commercial/entrepreneurial mindset paired with an independent, results-driven approach and high-quality standards.
• Proficient in utilizing CRM systems and adopting a data-driven work methodology.
• A team-oriented individual with a strong hands-on approach and a pronounced customer-centric focus.
