This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Propel sales within the designated territory.
• Interact with customers both in person and through virtual platforms.
• Formulate and execute business and territory call strategies.
• Recognize and apply live and virtual customer engagement tactics.
• Establish rapport and foster relationships with clients in both live and digital settings.
• Employ digital tools to ensure effective customer interaction.
• Utilize internal reports and analytics to pinpoint, cultivate, and execute strategic business initiatives.
• Inform providers about the value propositions of both unbranded and branded products through product and disease state expertise.
• Utilize authorized clinically-focused disease state information and patient resources.
• Collaborate in a compliant manner across the organization to address customer inquiries and further Pfizer's objectives.
• Meet administrative requirements punctually and in compliance.
• Bachelor’s Degree; or an associate’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience; or a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of pertinent experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in professional sales or promotional activities, small business ownership or entrepreneurial ventures, marketing, customer service, account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles, education, or full-time military service.
• Must reside within 25 miles of the territory border.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and driving record that meets company standards.
• Any DUI/DWI or similar impaired driving citation within the last 7 years will disqualify the candidate.
• At least 1 year of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales, and/or medical-related marketing is preferred.
• A proven track record of success in sales or marketing is preferred.
• Strong territory management abilities are preferred.
• Excellent communication skills are preferred.
• Demonstrated teamwork, leadership skills, and accountability are preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant disease states, therapeutic areas, and products is preferred.
• Knowledge of the customers and markets within the assigned territory is preferred.
• Residing within the territory boundaries is preferred.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
• Permanent work authorization in the United States is required.
• U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
