This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +1 more state.
• Interact with healthcare providers through in-person, virtual, and digital channels regarding neuroscience products and approved indications.
• Act as the main contact for long-term care accounts and healthcare providers.
• Organize speaker programs and facilitate local provider group discussions.
• Communicate opportunities, feedback, and local market insights to the Area Business Lead.
• Position solutions that enhance value for long-term care facilities.
• Identify and nurture relationships with LTC administrators, nursing directors, pharmacy managers, and other key decision-makers.
• Develop and implement customized communication and sales strategies for LTC facilities.
• Provide comprehensive, on-label product information in line with approved materials and regulatory guidelines.
• Address topics related to product access including payer coverage, co-pay options, prior authorization, formulary placement, and availability.
• Offer insights on patient care, system protocols, standards of care, discharge procedures, and published expert opinions.
• Utilize webinars, virtual meetings, digital newsletters, and interactive online platforms to engage with clients.
• Analyze territory and business data to monitor progress and identify opportunities.
• Educate office staff on payer guidelines and reimbursement processes.
• Leverage promotional materials and internal support resources.
• Overcome objections and influence prescribing behaviors during office visits.
• Identify professional groups for networking and potential access to key opinion leaders.
• Conduct balanced office visits and sales presentations using approved marketing materials and technical references.
• At least 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales.
• Must live within a commutable distance of 50 miles from the primary city in the sales territory.
• Relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales, healthcare management, or a related field is essential.
• Experience in the long-term care sector or with healthcare providers is greatly preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of sales experience with healthcare providers, ideally representing multiple products.
• In-depth understanding of the LTC environment, regulatory standards, operational challenges, and clinical needs of LTC residents.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders in LTC facilities.
• Ability to excel in a dynamic environment undergoing change.
• Proven success in coaching, training, and mentoring colleagues or others.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong commitment to ethical business practices and adherence to regulatory guidelines, company policies, and best practices.
• Proficient in territory analysis, business planning, sales metrics, promotional budgets, payer guidelines, and reimbursement processes.
• Capable of using approved promotional materials, technical references, studies, and product inserts.
• Solid understanding of product knowledge and competitive products.
