This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Achieves or surpasses sales goals for the designated region by executing approved market and selling strategies.
• Recognizes and addresses the business and scientific needs of healthcare professionals.
• Collaborates with Medical Science Directors, Managers, Patient Access, Regional Business Directors, HUB services, and other personnel within the organization.
• Creates and executes a dynamic business plan for the territory.
• Establishes, develops, and sustains professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs).
• Manages the hospital formulary process and formulates strategies accordingly.
• Proactively identifies potential business challenges.
• Maintains a high level of expertise in sales techniques, as well as clinical, market, and product knowledge.
• Works in collaboration with colleagues and company personnel to meet corporate goals.
• Effectively organizes and plans schedules to achieve objectives.
• Represents the company as an ambassador, maintaining a professional image.
• Completes assignments and projects as directed by the Regional Business Director.
• BA/BS Degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Neurology and/or Central Nervous System (CNS).
• Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its regulations/guidelines.
• Experience with launching new products.
• Highly self-motivated, dedicated to excellence, and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Proven selling skills with a history of sales achievements.
• Professional demeanor coupled with an exceptional ability to engage with others.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Familiarity with Veeva is an advantage.
• Must be willing to travel up to 30%, including frequent overnight stays.
