This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Montana.
• Set up, configure, and maintain telecommunications devices including routers, switches, modems, and structured cabling.
• Conduct diagnostics and repairs for network hardware and software problems.
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on network systems.
• Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to facilitate network upgrades and expansions.
• Keep documentation of network configurations, maintenance activities, and service reports.
• Address service tickets and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and industry regulations.
• Assist in planning and executing network security initiatives.
• Provide technical support and training for end-users as necessary.
• Operate in a safe and efficient manner.
• Safeguard the confidentiality of company information and records as required.
• An associate degree or technical certification in Telecommunications, Networking, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 3-5 years of experience in telecommunications or network support.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)/Administrator (PCNSA), or BICSI.
