Network Support Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Overseeing, diagnosing, and maintaining network infrastructure

• Configuring network devices according to group IT standards

• Ensuring optimal network performance and reliability

• Managing network security responsibilities, including firewall administration and intrusion detection/prevention

• Setup and support for Windows server environments

• Installation, configuration, and patch management of Windows server setups

• Resolving issues related to Windows operating systems and applications

• Administration of Active Directory, Group Policy, and other associated services

• Management of Linux servers (Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.x)

• Setup and hardening of Linux virtual machines

• Configuration of security updates and patch management

• Troubleshooting problems within the Linux environment

• Monitoring and enhancing server performance and uptime

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English is required

• Certifications in Network/Windows/Linux such as CCNA, MCSE, or RHCE are advantageous

• Basic understanding of networking troubleshooting techniques such as ping, traceroute, nslookup, etc.
