Network Security Engineer – Zscaler

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver network security implementation and consulting services across various customer environments.

• Implement and oversee SASE technologies from Zscaler, with potential integration of Netskope or Palo Alto.

• Deploy and manage firewall solutions from Palo Alto, Fortigate, Check Point, or Cisco.

• Create comprehensive network security documentation, such as as-builts, recommendations, implementation guides, and network diagrams.

• Leverage emerging technologies, including AI tools, to enhance productivity, resolve issues, and achieve improved business results.

• Engage in the full lifecycle of security technology opportunities from pre-sales to delivery.

• Define and manage the delivery of customer engagements.

• Continuously enhance expertise in emerging information security technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Candidates must reside in the U.S. to be eligible.

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Network Security Engineering within enterprise settings.

• Proven experience in deploying and integrating Zscaler.

• Certification as ZDTA or ZDTE is required.

• Practical experience with firewalls from Palo Alto, Fortigate, Check Point, or Cisco ASA-Firepower.

• Experience in deploying firewall technologies within AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Strong foundational knowledge of network and security concepts.

• Experience in developing security runbooks, policies, and best-practice documentation.

• Capability to lead projects confidently and act as the authoritative voice in network security during customer interactions.

• Prior experience in a consultative or professional services role is preferred.

• Familiarity with Netskope, Palo Alto, iBoss, or HP-Axis is advantageous.

• Experience with SD-WAN solutions such as HP-Silverpeak, Palo Alto Prisma-Cloudgenix, or Cisco-Viptela, including comprehensive SASE integration, is a plus.
