Network Operations Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Monitor, alert, and report on the health of systems and infrastructure.

• Open, review, resolve, manage, and close support tickets.

• Troubleshoot, triage, investigate, and mitigate system-related issues.

• Handle customer phone inquiries during your shift.

• Track issues to resolution within the ticketing system.

• Create Maintenance Tickets in response to Network Maintenance alerts.

• Escalate events according to predefined operational procedures.

• Provide customer support and respond effectively to customer needs.

• Act as a liaison between vendors for outstanding vendor support requests.

• Execute complex support tickets/tasks with guidance or assistance from a Systems Engineer and/or Support Engineer.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (Required).

• Basic understanding of IP and FTTX networks.

• Experience with Microsoft desktop operating systems is necessary.

• Proficiency in Office 2016 or later is required.

• Ability to research solutions using online resources or other technical references.

• Strong communication skills are essential.

• Capability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

• Microsoft, A+, Network+, or CCNA certifications are preferred.

• An Associate's degree in a technical field is preferred.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
