Network Engineer – Sovereign Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Design and manage robust, scalable, and secure network solutions.

• Accountable for the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of high-security network infrastructures.

• Collaborate closely with clients to plan tailored network setups.

• Configure and enhance complex routing scenarios utilizing BGP, MPLS, and IPv6.

• Create and maintain automation processes for efficient updates.

• Conduct fault analysis and continually improve monitoring to guarantee high availability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in network engineering, preferably within an ISP environment or large data centers.

• Strong knowledge of data center networking, particularly with Cumulus Linux and Juniper Junos.

• Profound understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, IPv6, VXLAN/EVPN).

• Proficient in using the Linux command line and experienced in scripting/automation (Bash, Python).

• Practical experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Terraform is advantageous.

• Structured work approach, excellent documentation skills, and very good proficiency in both German and English.
