Network Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, and provide support for LAN, WAN, wireless, firewall, and VPN solutions.

• Maintain and enhance network performance, reliability, and capacity.

• Conduct ongoing maintenance activities, including patching, upgrades, and managing the hardware lifecycle.

• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues within a production environment.

• Assist in incident response, perform root cause analysis, and fulfill on-call responsibilities.

• Ensure that network configurations adhere to security and compliance standards.

• Contribute to the development of documentation, standards, and efforts for continuous improvement.

• Support a multi-site enterprise network environment and critical business operations.

• Report directly to the Senior Infrastructure Operations Manager.


⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in network engineering and/or operations.

• Extensive knowledge of routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN technologies.

• Experience in supporting enterprise-level, multi-site network environments.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience with Cisco, including Meraki; Palo Alto networking platforms, including IONs and Panorama; Arista, including CloudVision; or similar technologies is preferred.

• Familiarity with PCI compliance requirements is preferred.

• Knowledge of LogicMonitor is preferred.

• Exposure to cloud or hybrid networking environments is preferred.

• Familiarity with scripting or automation tools is preferred.

• Self-motivated individual with a strong sense of ownership.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to operational excellence and hygiene.

• Proactive in identifying and resolving issues before they affect the business.

• Reliable and accountable, particularly in high-impact situations.
