Network DevOps Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement a long-term networking strategy within the public cloud.

• Automate networking tasks and create self-service tools for efficiency.

• Oversee an enterprise-scale SASE solution.

• Operate and maintain the network, including debugging, troubleshooting, tuning, and providing support.

• Engage in organizational objective planning sessions.

• Manage relationships with third-party vendors effectively.

• Provide cross-training and mentorship to team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in large-scale network infrastructure.

• Familiarity with AWS and Azure networking design and services.

• Ability to design, secure, and automate AWS networking infrastructure.

• Understanding of Network Routing, DNS, and Virtual Load Balancing (ALB, NLB).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub.

• High proficiency and experience in TCP/IP networking, architecture, and core technologies such as MPLS, BGP, DNS, IPsec, etc.

• Knowledge of managing campus wireless networks.

• Familiarity with firewalls, security configurations, and troubleshooting techniques.

• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently within an Agile framework.

• Capable of presenting technical policies, proposals, and designs effectively.

• Strong communication skills with a positive attitude.

• Ability to manage long-term, project and milestone-based work in collaboration with multiple teams.
