Network Applications Developer Advocate

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain detailed technical documentation, code examples, and tutorials that showcase best practices for utilizing Verify, Identity Insights, and various network API integrations.

• Conduct webinars, workshops, and hackathons aimed at educating developers on creating secure authentication flows, implementing fraud detection measures, and harnessing carrier network data.

• Create and maintain tools that ensure API documentation is up-to-date, including automated testing for code examples and integration demonstrations.

• Design and contribute to SDKs and developer tools that facilitate the integration of network APIs across diverse platforms and programming languages.

• Collect and analyze feedback from developers to pinpoint areas for API enhancements, improved developer experiences, and innovative network-driven features.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to ensure that tooling aligns with platform functionalities, security standards, and developer requirements.

• Extensive software development experience with a focus on authentication, identity verification, or security-related technologies.

• Proficiency in various programming languages pertinent to both server-side and client-side development.

• Background in API design, implementation, and RESTful web services.

• Solid understanding of authentication flows, security best practices, and concepts related to fraud prevention.

• Exceptional technical writing and documentation abilities.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging capabilities.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a remote work environment.

• Previous experience in Developer Experience, Developer Relations, or Developer Advocacy is considered advantageous.

• Knowledge of telecom networks, carrier APIs, and mobile network infrastructure is a plus.

• Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth, OIDC, SAML) and multi-factor authentication is a plus.

• Understanding of fraud detection, risk scoring, and identity verification solutions is a plus.

• Proficiency in various programming languages typically used for tooling and server-side development is a plus.

• Familiarity with cloud communication platforms (CPaaS), Network APIs, and Vonage APIs is a plus.

• Experience in creating developer documentation and technical content is a plus.

• Background in SDK development and maintenance across multiple platforms is a plus.
