• Developer Advocacy & Community Building
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with developers, partners, and open-source communities.
• Engage with the developer ecosystem by hosting AMAs, office hours, webinars, and participating in online communities.
• Gather and synthesize developer feedback to guide product and engineering teams.
• Identify key developers, projects, and communities to create collaboration opportunities.
• Technical Content & Enablement
• Develop and sustain high-quality technical content (blog posts, tutorials, sample applications, videos, documentation, SDK guides, etc.) aimed directly at developers.
• Create demos, prototypes, and reference implementations that illustrate real-world use cases.
• Contribute to enhancing the developer experience through documentation feedback, onboarding processes, and API design recommendations.
• Assist in developer onboarding via workshops, hackathons, and training sessions.
• Product Evangelism
• Represent the company’s technology stack at industry events, developer meetups, and within online communities.
• Simplify complex technical concepts into clear, relatable value propositions.
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure technical storytelling aligns with broader brand messaging.
• Monitor and report community sentiment and adoption metrics to assess the impact of evangelism.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with engineering, product management, and marketing to align developer needs with product strategy.
• Establish structured feedback loops between external developers and internal teams to enhance product usability.
• Aid in launch strategies for new developer-facing features, APIs, and SDKs.
• Participate in roadmap discussions to ensure that developer experience remains a strategic focus.
• Assist in initial technical discussions with potential customers and partners.
• Thought Leadership
• Serve as a credible technical representative for the company through public speaking, open-source contributions, and community involvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and frameworks relevant to the developer community.
• Mentor internal teams on effective developer communication and community engagement practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Previous experience as a Developer Advocate, Developer Relations, or Technical Community Manager.
• Strong practical experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js, capable of writing production-level code and explaining it clearly to other developers.
• Proven experience in building, testing, and maintaining applications or APIs.
• Demonstrated ability to create technical content (tutorials, sample projects, blog posts, videos, or documentation) that educates and inspires developers.
• Experience speaking at public events, such as developer conferences, meetups, webinars, or internal company presentations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts into engaging messages.
• Experience interacting with developer communities through events, GitHub, forums, or social media.
• Strong understanding of developer experience principles and best practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and marketing teams.
• Solid production experience with React Native and/or Electron (shipping apps that real users enjoy).
• Highly proficient with Node.js and contemporary JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems.
• Fluency in English — exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for public-facing content and developer engagement.
• Experience in designing, documenting, or promoting SDKs or developer tools.
• Experience in developing or integrating applications (web, mobile, or desktop).
• 4–6 years of experience in software development or developer relations.
• Familiarity with AI tools (such as Cursor, Codex, or similar AI-assisted development workflows) to enhance productivity and problem-solving capabilities.
• Contributions to open-source projects or maintenance of public GitHub repositories.
• Understanding of DevRel success metrics, including content reach, community engagement, and product adoption.
• Experience in technical writing, developer education, or public speaking.
• Passion for community building, mentoring, and empowering developers through content and collaboration.
