• Establish and cultivate relationships with developers, partners, and open-source communities.
• Actively engage with the developer ecosystem by hosting AMAs, office hours, webinars, and participating in online communities.
• Gather and synthesize feedback from developers to guide product and engineering teams.
• Identify key developers, projects, and communities to create collaboration opportunities.
• Produce and sustain high-quality technical content (such as blog posts, tutorials, sample applications, videos, and documentation) specifically aimed at developers.
• Develop demonstrations, prototypes, and reference implementations that highlight practical use cases.
• Contribute to enhancing the developer experience through documentation feedback, onboarding processes, and suggestions for API design.
• Facilitate developer onboarding via workshops, hackathons, and training sessions.
• Promote the company’s technology stack at industry events, developer meetups, and online communities.
• Simplify complex technical concepts into clear and relatable value propositions.
• Work in partnership with marketing to ensure technical storytelling aligns with overall brand messaging.
• Monitor and report on community sentiment and adoption metrics to assess the impact of evangelism efforts.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and marketing to align developer needs with product strategy.
• Establish structured feedback mechanisms between external developers and internal teams to enhance product usability.
• Assist in launching new developer-facing features, APIs, and SDKs.
• Participate in roadmap discussions to keep developer experience as a strategic priority.
• Represent the company as a credible technical authority in the ecosystem through public speaking, open-source contributions, and community involvement.
• Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and frameworks pertinent to the developer community.
• Mentor internal teams on effective developer communication and community engagement practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Over 3 years of professional software development experience.
• Prior experience as a Developer Advocate, Developer Relations, or Technical Community Manager.
• Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js, capable of writing production-level code and explaining it clearly to peers.
• Demonstrated experience in building, testing, and maintaining applications or APIs.
• Proven ability to create technical content (including tutorials, sample projects, blog posts, videos, or documentation) that educates and motivates developers.
• Experience in presenting at public events such as developer conferences, meetups, webinars, or internal company presentations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the capacity to translate complex technical concepts into straightforward, engaging messages.
• Experience interacting with developer communities through events, GitHub, forums, or social media.
• Strong understanding of developer experience principles and best practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and marketing teams.
• Significant production experience with React Native and/or Electron (delivering apps that real users love).
• Highly proficient with Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript ecosystems.
• Fluent in English — exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for public-facing content and developer engagement.
