Network Administrator, Tier 2 – Network Operations Center

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Assist in performing network assessments and documenting requirements.

• Verify the configurations of network hardware and software against approved standards.

• Conduct basic troubleshooting for routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

• Monitor network performance and escalate any anomalies to Tier 3 personnel.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to address service-related issues.

• Maintain precise records of network incidents, modifications, and resolutions.

• Support user account management and access control measures.

• Aid in the setup of client devices and address connectivity challenges.

• Monitor system logs and report any authentication or hardware discrepancies.

• Implement routine security patches under the guidance of Tier 3 staff.

• Use network monitoring tools to detect performance or security concerns.

• Ensure clear and professional communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).

• 2-3 years of experience in network support or administration.

• Experience in regulated or secure environments is advantageous.

• Entry-level certification (Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+) is required.
