NetSuite Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Lead the design and development of intricate NetSuite solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and long-term strategies.

• Serve as a technical architect to establish best practices for system customization and integrations.

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior developers and cross-functional teams.

• Design and implement advanced SuiteScripts 2.x, Suitelets, and workflows to enhance business processes.

• Oversee the creation of custom NetSuite applications utilizing the SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF).

• Develop scalable and maintainable customizations that integrate seamlessly with NetSuite’s built-in functionalities.

• Architect and implement robust integrations between NetSuite and external systems leveraging REST APIs, SOAP, and other technologies.

• Troubleshoot and resolve critical issues, offering expert-level support to maintain system stability and reliability.

• Create and uphold comprehensive technical and functional documentation for all customizations and integrations.

• Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into technical solutions.

• Promote a culture of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and professional development within the development team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on NetSuite development experience, delivering SuiteScripts 2.x, Suitelets, workflows, and maintainable customizations that complement (not conflict with) NetSuite's native functionalities.

• Proven expertise in integration design, development, and support using REST/SOAP, including aspects such as authentication, error handling, logging, retry strategies, and monitoring.

• Strong functional understanding of key NetSuite domains, including Financials, Inventory, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Advanced Inventory, and Intercompany, with the ability to translate operational needs into effective technical solutions.

• Demonstrated experience delivering in an Agile SDLC, applying disciplined engineering practices such as Git, branching strategies, peer code reviews, testing, and release/change management in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of explaining trade-offs, recommending options, and aligning technical decisions with business outcomes.

• Preferred Certifications: NetSuite ERP Consultant, NetSuite SuiteCloud Developer Certification.
