.NET Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Dominican Republic.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure backend services utilizing C# and .NET/.NET Core.

• Create and document RESTful APIs for both internal and external usage.

• Implement data access layers using Entity Framework Core.

• Produce clean, maintainable, and testable code in accordance with best practices and design patterns (such as Decorators and Commands).

• Engage in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure compliance with coding standards.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in both production and development environments.

• Integrate with third-party APIs and services, ensuring reliability and optimal performance.

• Contribute to the architecture and design of microservices and distributed systems.

• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and assist with automated deployment processes.

• Stay current with emerging backend technologies and suggest improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in developing backend applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.

• Strong proficiency in ASP.NET Core, Web API, and Entity Framework Core.

• Experience with RESTful API design, versioning, and documentation (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI).

• Solid grasp of object-oriented programming (OOP) and SOLID principles.

• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit) and mocking libraries.

• Experience in asynchronous programming, dependency injection, and middleware.

• Knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts, including JWT, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.

• Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., Azure DevOps).

• Understanding of microservices, message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus), and distributed systems.
