📋 Description

• Assist in enhancing the systems, processes, and controls that ensure the secure and dependable operation of energy infrastructure.

• Spearhead initiatives aimed at bolstering regulatory preparedness, cybersecurity resilience, operational continuity, and the long-term sustainability of infrastructure within critical environments.

• Promote NERC CIP Compliance Excellence by leading and implementing compliance programs across essential infrastructure.

• Oversee compliance initiatives that facilitate audit preparedness, evidence management, remediation tracking, and regulatory reporting.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with the evolving NERC CIP standards and regulatory demands.

• Work in partnership with OT Security, IT, and Operations teams to enhance cybersecurity measures within operational technology environments.

• Assist in vulnerability management, patch management, and baseline configuration management processes in regulated systems.

• Create and refine scalable governance processes, documentation standards, and operational compliance workflows.

• Engage closely with technical, operational, and compliance stakeholders to harmonize security goals with operational priorities.

• Provide leadership during audits, remediation activities, and regulatory evaluations.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, OT Security, NERC CIP compliance, or compliance management within regulated infrastructure settings.

• Comprehensive understanding of NERC CIP standards, audit readiness practices, and regulatory compliance obligations.

• Experience supporting medium impact control center environments and their associated operational compliance requirements.

• In-depth knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS), operational technology (OT) environments, and cybersecurity governance frameworks.

• Proven experience in managing audits, remediation programs, compliance documentation, and cross-functional operational initiatives.

• Familiarity with vulnerability management platforms, patch management systems, baseline configuration management tools, and electronic access management systems.

• Experience in supporting physical security technologies, security governance processes, and risk remediation strategies.

• Exceptional documentation, organizational, communication, and stakeholder coordination abilities.

• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

• Certifications such as CISSP, GICSP, CISA, CIPM, or NERC CIP-related certifications are highly desirable.

• Established connections within the energy, utilities, OT cybersecurity, compliance, or critical infrastructure sectors will enhance success in this role.

• Insight into the operational realities of energy infrastructure environments where cybersecurity, reliability, and compliance intersect.

• A proactive, collaborative, and highly organized working approach that supports complex initiatives with minimal oversight.
