This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the complete NCAA eligibility process by registering students with the NCAA Eligibility Center, tracking Core Course progress, monitoring GPA in relation to the sliding scale, and ensuring transcripts meet Division I and Division II standards.
• Review student transcripts in accordance with NCAA Core Course, GPA, and sliding scale requirements, identifying gaps and collaborating with the academic team to address them.
• Provide guidance to parents and student-athletes regarding current eligibility status, potential risks, and necessary next steps.
• Collaborate with academic guides and campus teams on course selections, credit recovery initiatives, and transcript modifications.
• Offer support related to eligibility for recruiting, including coach visibility, official visits, and scholarship offers.
• Monitor each student's Core Courses, GPA, Eligibility Center registration, and subsequent actions.
• Communicate regular and clear updates to families about eligibility status and transcript developments.
• Work together with academic guides, coaches, and the Dean of Parents to ensure that eligibility and transcripts are in alignment with both academic and athletic commitments.
• 3–5 years of experience in NCAA eligibility, encompassing NCAA compliance, college athletic academic advising, high school athletic counseling, or a comparable position.
• Comprehensive understanding of the NCAA Eligibility Center, Core Course criteria, GPA and sliding scale regulations, along with Division I and Division II initial eligibility standards.
• Proficient in evaluating high school transcripts against NCAA prerequisites.
• Experience in advising parents and student-athletes, delivering challenging information, developing action plans, and securing cooperation.
• Familiarity with college recruiting processes, including the eligibility ramifications of visits, offers, and discussions with coaches.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Highly organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple student eligibility cases while ensuring follow-through.
