This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Drive Demand & Adoption
• Excel in demand generation by effectively showcasing Wardflex expertise and gas piping solutions to meet sales targets.
• Position Wardflex as the contractor’s preferred CSST brand through impactful solution selling, application expertise, and hands-on demonstrations and facility tours.
• Strengthening Contractor, Distributor & Rep Agency Relationships
• Establish enduring relationships within the residential plumbing ecosystem, including contractors, distribution partners, and manufacturers’ representative agencies.
• Collaborate with rep agencies to enhance product knowledge, support a Wardflex certified sales force, close sales, expand Wardflex placement, and achieve ambitious growth objectives.
• Engage with national, regional, and local trade associations to leverage contractor relationships for greater product adoption.
• Product Demonstration & Training
• Select, demonstrate, and promote Wardflex system solutions specifically designed for residential gas piping applications.
• Provide training for contractors, distribution inside/outside sales teams, and other key decision-makers to foster brand preference and strengthen organizational partnerships.
• Train the trainer: ensure our rep agencies and distribution networks are Wardflex certified to generate demand among plumbing and HVAC contractors as well as distributors in the market.
• Act as the front-line advocate for new Wardflex product launches, serving as the product team’s eyes and ears for field needs and competitive insights.
• Pipeline Growth & Market Expansion
• Collaborate with our rep partners and Regional Managers to develop a steady pipeline of contractor prospects and residential project opportunities.
• Identify high-potential markets and boost Wardflex penetration through strategic contractor conversions.
• Provide field feedback on installation trends, competitive activities, and contractor requirements.
• Sales Tools & Technology
• Effectively utilize CRM, Power BI, Microsoft applications, and digital tools.
• Leverage teams to communicate and engage with Regional Managers, Rep Partners, and key contractors.

• Budget Responsibilities
• Oversee deliverables within the annual expense budget.
• A minimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in plumbing or related residential construction sectors.
• High level of accountability and self-motivation.

• Willingness to travel nationally 60% of the time or more.
• The base salary range for this position is $160,000.00 - $185,000.00 USD annually.
