📋 Description

• Select article topics from a curated pool.

• Conduct research and craft original travel articles.

• Propose article topics to our Editorial team.

• Be a reliable and consistent contributor to the website.

• Adhere to TheTravel's general Editorial Guidelines while delivering unique and high-quality content.

• Generate articles promptly to ensure that the most current industry news and engaging content are accessible to TheTravel's dedicated readers.

• Operate under tight deadlines and complete assignments punctually.

• Collaborate with the Lead Editor to implement feedback effectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in journalism or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in creating travel and related content.

• Strong familiarity and deep passion for the travel industry, particularly with contemporary travel content.

• Knowledge of SEO practices.

• Experience with a custom CMS is preferred.

• Background as a park ranger, NPS staff member, or a seasoned parks/outdoors expert with over 5 years of experience.

• Firsthand knowledge of permits, trails, seasonal conditions, and park safety.
