This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +1 more state.
• Serve as the primary point of contact responsible for managing and enhancing the business relationship with a power generation transmission and distribution utility in the Rocky Mountain/Upper Mid-West region of the United States.
• Collaborate with the PG & T utility client to comprehend and fulfill their business goals, while also driving revenue and profitability for the company.
• Coordinate closely with key client contacts and significant internal personnel (including Office Managers and Program/Project Managers) to ensure the utility's requirements are met in a timely and consistent manner, while maintaining or exceeding quality standards.
• Foster strong working relationships with key stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Lead the identification, pursuit, and development of new leads within the client.
• Formulate a strategic plan to pinpoint key business opportunities through market research and analysis of the client's project pipelines.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the client when applicable. Oversee and direct cross-selling initiatives, proposal development, and contract negotiations across multiple service lines for the client.
• Collaborate with Terracon’s National Account Program to uncover business opportunities with key suppliers, such as AE and construction firms engaged with the client.
• Implement long-term business and marketing strategies.
• Incorporate chargeable time into pricing models for account management and review.
• Work closely with senior management at the Division and Operating Group level to enhance account performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field practiced by the Firm, such as Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology, along with 12 years of related experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 16 years of related experience may substitute for a degree.
• Proven experience working with power generation distribution and transmission clients.
• Background in marketing professional services and managing accounts in one or more of the following sectors: commercial construction and development, and/or power generation and transmission.
• Exceptional presentation and sales skills are essential.
• Strong background in environmental or engineering consulting and client development, with a specific focus on environmental or engineering expertise.
• Experience in client engagement, proposal writing, and managing commercial agreements.
• A valid driver’s license with an acceptable violation history may be required.
• Preferred ability to attain Authorized Project Reviewer status by Terracon.
• Professional Geologist (PG) or Professional Engineer (PE) designation is preferred, though not mandatory.
