This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +4 more states.
• Drive premium growth and enhance customer retention for accounts with over 5,000 lives.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for revenue generation.
• Serve as a strategic and consultative partner for national accounts.
• Lead renewal strategies and manage customer relationships throughout the customer lifecycle.
• Analyze customer data, pricing trends, claims trends, and customer metrics.
• Collaborate with Sales, Underwriting, Benefits, Consulting, and other internal teams.
• Provide customized solutions and ensure successful implementation.
• Conduct root cause analysis and engage in strategic account planning.
• Facilitate finalist meetings to secure business.
• Act as a subject matter expert on tools, resources, and inforce capabilities.
• Utilize expertise in absence management, statutory regulations, and claims processes.
• Monitor the strengths and weaknesses of competitors and innovate with fresh capabilities.
• Enhance claims service, improve results, and boost customer satisfaction and retention.
• Deliver stewardship presentations and provide clear reporting.
• Assist customers and consultants in making renewal, coverage, and performance-guarantee decisions.
• Manage logistics for sales and customer presentations.
• Maintain precise internal customer documentation.
• Cultivate strong business relationships at all organizational levels.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5+ years of proven relationship management experience in the group insurance or benefits sector.
• FLMI, CPDM, and/or CEBS designations preferred.
• Life and Disability insurance license for all states within the assigned territory of the office.
• Occasional travel is necessary, including for event planning, team building, or conferences.
• Ability to analyze customer data, pricing trends, claims, and customer metrics.
• Knowledge of absence management and statutory regulations is essential.
• Capability to lead renewals, finalist meetings, stewardship presentations, and customer engagements.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Underwriting, Benefits, Consulting, and other divisions.
• Must successfully pass background checks, including criminal, employment, education, and licensing verification.
• Must be bondable.
