This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute established sales strategies (i.e., sales programs).
• Assess the effectiveness of existing sales strategies and programs.
• Engage with and foster relationships with National Brand Accounts, Architects, General Contractors, Installers, and other key figures in the construction industry.
• Influence the specification process alongside Designers/Specification Writers/Creators.
• Establish a strong specification presence for Nichiha products.
• Cultivate partnerships within the general contractor and installer community to enhance awareness of Nichiha’s offerings.
• Identify and target leading Brand accounts, Designers, Architects, and General Contractors that can drive material changes, positioning Nichiha as the preferred cladding option.
• Manage existing accounts while also identifying and pursuing new National Brand Accounts.
• Identify projects where Nichiha has been specified or submitted.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of Nichiha’s product competition and various pricing structures.
• Create and maintain a project pipeline within Salesforce.com.
• Monitor and maintain the specified/submitted project pipeline until the order is received.
• Document all activities in Salesforce.com.
• Deliver AIA/CES courses to Architects.
• Assist in the creation of new AIA CES offerings.
• Provide feedback on current AIA/CES offerings.
• Conduct Product Knowledge training sessions for general contractors and installers.
• Coordinate market intelligence regarding products, programs, shipping, and market segments.
• Collaborate with other Nichiha personnel as needed to offer technical assistance, training, project initiation support, contractor aid, problem resolution, etc.
• Manage the sales process through brands and/or contractors as necessary.
• Work with Field Technical personnel to establish a trained and consistent installer network.
• Participate in design organizations and promotional/trade show events.
• Engage in national promotional/trade show activities as required.
• Support Product Development efforts.
• Collect information on competitive activities and potential strategic directives.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a B2B setting (preferably in building materials sales).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Proven ability to cultivate strong client relationships and maintain a solid national account client database.
• Proficient in face-to-face sales and engaging national accounts.
• Must be a proactive self-starter who can work independently.
• Capability to create product and technical presentations.
• Exceptional presentation skills.
• General understanding of the construction process.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, etc.
• Experience with Bluebeam is advantageous.
• Familiarity with Construct Connect and other construction data software is desired.
• Experience using a CRM tool (Salesforce.com is preferred).
• Awareness of social media trends.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Excel.
