Music Therapist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct virtual individual and group music therapy sessions.

• Teach guitar skills and facilitate songwriting activities.

• Lead mindfulness and stress-reduction exercises.

• Coordinate and execute virtual retreat programs.

• Document clinical services in the electronic health record system.

• Collaborate with songwriters and healthcare providers.

• Manage program logistics, reporting, and weekly meetings.

• Support outreach and participant recruitment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC).

• Experience in substance use disorder treatment (preferred).

• Group facilitation and virtual instruction experience.

• Strong skills in guitar instruction.

• Proficiency in songwriting or music composition.

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and mindfulness practices.

• Experience working with veterans or clinical populations (preferred).

• Program management or project coordination experience (preferred).

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems (preferred).
